THE deACTION SHOP
The deAction shop is located right on Silver Rock beach right beside the Silver Point Hotel. The location is ideal for windsurfing, kitesurfing and beginner surfing. The owner of the shop is famous windsurfer Brian Talma. Out of all Barbados Kitesurfing Rentals we recommend this one because the prices are reasonable and the deals are possible. Also the owner is a very friendly and helpful guy.
Windsurfing rental price list:
1 hour $40 US
½ day $60 US
1 day $75 US
2 days $125 US
3 days: $175 US
6/7 days $300 US
2 weeks $450 US
Lessons are $60 US per hour for beginners and $30 for intermediate to advance.
Kitesurfing rental price list:
½ day $60 US (board only $35 US)
1 day $80 US (board only $60 US)
Lessons (equipment included) are $75 US per hour. 6 hours course is $360 US.
CLUB MISTRAL
There are two Club Mistral locations. One is at Silver Sands right next to the Silver Sands hotel and another one is in the St. Lawrence gap.
The management has “We are internationally recognized!” attitude. The consequences of this attitude are the highest prices and the lowest customer service quality. The conditions at Silver Sands are not the best for beginners; therefore, the Club Mistral located there does not catering to beginners at all. Also, if you happen to come here in April don’t expect to find a good selection of equipment. When the high season is over, they ship most of their equipment out.

SURFER’S CAFE RENTAL SHOP
Another barbados kitesurfing rentals place was opened quite recently by a british guy. It is located on the main road through Oistings across from the Super Center grocery store. They rent windsurfing and surfing equipment and give kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing lessons. Deals and packages are available.
