Margarita Windsurfing Rentals and Kitesurfing Rentals.
There are lots of windsurf and kitesurf rental shops and schools in El Yaque. Some are internationally known like Vela and Club Mistral some are small local shops with nevertheless a great selection of equipment. You can get the best deals by shopping around, although some of the larger shops can be booked up in high season. No matter where you rent the best equipment is always available. VELA Vela is located just below the El Yaque Beach Hotel with access to the beach. They have a great selection of the gear for adults as well as custom kids rigs. Vela mostly sells packages (Hotels + Gear or Airfare from Britain + Hotels + Gear) and guests that come generally pre-booked their equipment.
1 week windsurfing gear rental with Vela is about US $270. No kitesurfing rental is available at the time. 3 times per week Vela center conducts 30 minute Windsurf Technique Seminars which are included whether you are on the complete package or the no equipment option. Windsurfing Lessons: Beginner lessons including equipment (2-4 students) 1 hour – US $45 Private Beginner lessons including equipment 1 hour – US $55 
Kitesurfing Lessons All lessons are private and come with equipment. 1 hours- US $75.
PLANET WINDSURFING Located directly in front of Hotel Oasis, this center is run by Bart and his wife Dagmar. They offer Mistral and JP (Jason Polakow) boards with Gaastra sails. Windsurfing Lessons: Private lessons no equipment - $40 per hour Private lessons with equipment - $47 per hour Beginner – 10 hours (min. 2 persons) - $150

The Club Mistral center (probabbly the priciest one in El Yaque) is located in the El Yaque Paradise Hotel. It is only a few metres to the beach. Club Mistral opened a separate Skyriders school for kitesurfers which rents kitesurfing equipment and give lessons. Skyriders are located a 100 metres from the main Club Mistral center in the garden of the Jump'n Jibe Hotel.
