South Padre is very similar to Cape Hatteras, but the beaches are nicer, there is more to do, both the water and air temperatures are warm year round and you don’t have to drive they have an international airport . Greek Cycladic Islands in the Aegean Sea are spectacular and windy this time of the year and the best of them is Naxos Island. The strong, dry north winds of the Aegean Sea called Meltem blow here from about mid-May to mid-September.
