Ilha do Guajiru, is a hot new kiteboarding destination in Brazil. This location is great for both beginners and aspiring pro riders since it features km's of riding on its shallow, flat water lagoon. The constant 20+ knot winds everyday and shallow flat lagoon riding will help you improve your kiteboarding skills.

There is a 10 rooms pousada called Windy Addiction located at Praia do Barra, Ilha do Guajiru and a kite school/rental store. Also there is a nice bar and a restaurant where you can just sit and watch the sunset with a beer or a glass of wine with a few close friends.

The Canadian and Brazilian owners of the posada fell in love in October 2009 and are getting married Sept 5th 2010 on the beach in Ilha do Guajiru, if you are in the area...you are invited to come join the party!
